Meet Your Instructor
L. Makeba is from North Carolina by way of Georgia. She has soulful vibes that can be associated with musical influences such as Gladys Knight, Angie Stone, and Lalah Hathaway.
Lashunda attended the Music Institute in Los Angeles, California, where she performed with bands at live performance workshops. A US. Army veteran, she has performed at the Veterans Administration, open mics, fundraisers, and, of course, social media.
She has placed original music in independent films that she wrote and produced. She is currently in the studio writing and producing her upcoming single, “Little Girl”
